Miss Temperance Jones is a generic female "character" to be used when no bio exists for a played character, NPC, or Shared NPC.
When using Miss Jones, put the name of the actual character she is writing for at the top of your post in italics or bold type and | Written by: Your Display Name (see example below)
NPC: Character Name | Written by: @[Display Name]
Miss Temperance Jones can also be used as a generic scene-setting "character". For example, if you want to do a simple narrative that describes the scene (landscape, building, who is present, etc.).

Historical Note:
The typewriter was invented in 1874.
