1853: Born in Kalispell
1869: left home as quickly as he could to avoid all the hostility from his father. Got a job as a cowboy and therefore hasn’t been home for any length of time in years. He sends home money when he can and made extra visits and sent extra money during his mother’s illness.
1877: Growing tired of this rugged and tough life Jess has made his way back to Kalispell to check on his family, especially worried for his younger brother. He has no idea that he is coming home to an awful mess!
