General Notes

John or Johnnie Noble was orphaned at an early age. He became known as Hellrider Noble later in life for his penchant of riding a horse into the dirt and doing what it took to beat out others for a lucrative job. He's been and done a little bit of everything from sailing with the Sabine River Rats (where he'd have encountered the Morgans and Val Caine initially) to riding with gangs and other outlaws.

Hunter Morgan was tasked with bringing Hellrider in to the San Antonio jail to answer for a variety of charges. Unfortunately, Noble got word of this and decided to go after the Morgans before they could come after him...again. Johnnie ambushed Hunter on his way home. Hunter managed to make it back to town and tell the law and Val who the shooter was ~ Val was a little late but was going to go with Hunter to bring Hellrider in.

Other Notes

I've purpose left the how, when, where, and why Johnnie Noble might have a grudge purposely vague so others can chime in. I figure maybe they'd taken out a brother, uncle, father, friend, etc.
