Summary: Hannah meets with Marshal Guyer about an article in the Kalispell Union. While there, Tyrell Thornton comes in with a boy whose family has been murdered. As Guyer walks Hannah out, he is shot.

Marshal Guyer deputizes Hannah, Quentin, and Tyrell Thornton. Hannah remains behind to watch the office and assist Dr. Danforth while Quentin and the others see if they can track the shooter.
