"Everybody can feather their nest, but it's not just anybody that can lay an egg!"
Since Arabella had mentioned that she was off to tell Brendan and Caroline loud enough, he had no choice but to answer, "They already know. In fact, they're over at the parlour right now."
"Uh?!" She looked confused, she'd left Caroline at the Saloon doing saloony things, what on earth had possessed her to go to the O.F.P.? No matter, at least she knew someone was there to look after Bridget, but she couldn't help wonder if some sort of horrible love-triangle had led to this tragedy.
He took a depth breath, "Arabella you should wait until morning to go over there. Caroline will take of Bridget tonight, so you don't have worry on that part. However, for once, it's best that you stay away or you'll be making a bad situation even worse."
"Well, thanks fer the vote of confidence!" hmphed Arabella, but then shook her head without ire. "Well don't you werry, I'll be sitting up all night with Lorenzo." she sighed, the vigil being the least she could do for her friend; funny sort of a friend though he had been.
So it was that both the living and dead were kept company that fateful night.
