Okay, great idea, a barn raising. Now, what we need to do is plot it, who, what, when, where, and why.
Who does the barn belong to? Who will begin the thread? Is there an antagonist?
What would be the cause? Accident, or on purpose? The other What would be the barn itself.
When does this happen? Daylight or nighttime.
Where would this plot take place that would encompass the most writers?
Why did this happen? Now, of course, we may have already come to that conclusion probably in Who & What.
This is just ideas to consider as the thread idea takes shape. We can do it any way you'd like, or not.

Okay, trying to bring together the Discord convos with the thoughts here and sum up.
Who and What: Wayfie volunteered Aurelian as the unfortunate farmer to lose his barn, presumably to an arsonist involved with Evergreen.
When: Wayfie brought up writing this at the same time/in the aftermath of an attack on the Redmond homestead, so probably an evening/night and then the barn raising would be sometime later, maybe a Friday night and Saturday.
Where: Even though the Redmond farm is out of town, I think Aurelian and his family are well-known enough that most people would be willing to make a trip out to help, especially if there's a dance/social event built in.
Is that everything? This isn't all set in stone, (a lot is up to you, Flip, since it would be Elias's prerogative to order an attack or arson) but are just some ideas we tossed out.
Good summary. Just like to add I would like the first part to be an attack not just some sneaky arson. We don't have enough action threads in this here western. :)
