Language (3)

  • Swearing and mature language is permitted.
  • If a thread contains sexually graphic language (i.e. the F-bomb is being dropped in every sentence, we ask that these threads be marked as Mature rendering them unviewable by the general public as well as for members that have not enabled Mature Content in their Profiles.

Sex (2)

  • Sexual content is permitted with some limitations.
  • Writing erotic sex scenes is between the Players involved and their preferences. These threads will be marked mature and unviewable to the general public as well as for members that have not enabled Mature Content in their profiles.
  • Limitations:
    • No graphic descriptions of child rape and / or abuse will be permitted.
    • No sexually explicit images allowed period!

Violence (3)

  • Explicit Violence is permitted.
  • These threads will be marked mature and unviewable to the general public as well as for members that have not enabled Mature Content in their profiles.
  • Explicit descriptions of child abuse are prohibited although they may be alluded to.

Trigger Warnings

  • Not required! However, if a Player deems the content in their thread sensitive enough to require a warning, they may mark the thread as Mature and post the warning at the top of their thread.

Mature Content Information

The overwhelming majority of content written in this text-based RPG would be considered PG-14 and is far less graphic than what most people experience watching a television program or playing a video game. However, there is the potential for sensitive or graphic content.

Marking Threads as Mature

Players, if you choose to mark a thread as mature, you need to make sure you have Mature Content enabled in your OOC Profile. Directions can be found HERE.

If a thread is marked mature, please add a short statement at the top of your opening post that explains the rating. Also, please put this statement in bold and/or italic text to draw attention to it.

Example: This thread has been marked mature due to extreme violence and coarse language.
