How the Site Theme Works

Sagas offers both a dark and a light variant of our theme which is awesome for folks that prefers one over the other. However, it is not two separate themes, it is two variants of one theme. Therefore, any special formatting you do in a post, overrides the theme's formatting. For example, the dark variant's primary text color is a neutral gray. If you choose to manually color the text in your post and you choose black, it will not be visible to other people using the dark variant. You chose black, that overrides the neutral gray built-in text formatting.

For those that like to color their dialog, you can do that by choosing a color from the post editor's built in color palette. However, remember that whatever color you choose overrides the site's built-in theme colors and might make your post illegible to players using a different theme variant.

Sagas' theme will auto-magically color text that you format as bold. The color of your bolded text will show after you save the post and is based on the character's group color or your OOC group color if making an OOC post. Again, the colors will not show until you save the post.
