About Your OOC Profile

For the most part, what you choose to add to your profile or not add is entirely up to you. However, there are some fields in your OOC profile that Vesta (our forum platform) relies on to work properly for you. For this reason, we strongly encourage you to take the time to complete or update those fields after registering your account. That way it is over and done and you can forget about it.

I have chosen to complete my OOC profile although I have also chosen to hide my birthdate from the public. So, you can look at mine as an example of what I put into it. Again, this is not necessary. How much information you provide is entirely up to you.

Below, we cover the fields you really need to complete as soon as you can.

Completing Your Profile

1. Click on Profile in the User Menu to the right of your Displayed Name at the top of the page.
2. This takes you to the Manage Profile page. You will see several tabs starting with Settings. You will need to take action on the following tabs: Settings, Password Recovery, Images, and Profile.
3. Go through each tab and complete as much information as you deem relevant.

Settings

1. Choose your time zone from the dropdown menu.
2. Go through the toggles and switch them on or off based on your personal preferences. Please leave the Hide Me From Online Lists at off.

Mature Content (Important!)

To view content that members have marked as Mature, you need to do two things in your profile.

1. Settings Tab: If you wish to view mature content, click the Mature Content toggle (it is disabled by default) so it shows green/on.
2. Profile Tab: Enter your birthdate. Our site is 18+. You can choose not to show the date by clicking Hide my birthdate from others on the Settings tab.

Password & Recovery

Important! Under the Password & Recovery tab, you need to select your Password Recovery Question and Answer. Due to a system bug, you may have to input it more than once. Make sure it says A recovery answer is stored.

Optional, but looks better!
